EarthCheck is the world's leading certification for sustainable destinations and tourism.


This EarthCheck Bronze Benchmark is an important step of our hotel as a sustainable project. We are glad to be part of a team that is making so much effort to protect our environment.


We continue our journey towards zero waste by addressing food as well as paper waste in our facilities, adopting a sustainability policy, as well as supporting the local community.

„Murs Porteurs“ mit Thierry Wenger

An exposition of the Swiss photographer Thierry Wenger in collaboration with “Murs Porteurs”, from December 16ᵗʰ 2022 to April 23ʳᵈ 2023.


Thierry Wenger is a famous autodidact Swiss artist who finds inspiration in his numerous trips in Switzerland and abroad, and from his passion for the mountains and their mythical landscapes. Wenger’s photographs of his exhibition "Prendre de la Hauteur" can be found throughout the hotel, the restaurant, the lounge bar and the Spa.


“Prendre de la Hauteur” is a selection of photographs from the “Prendre de la Hauteur”, “Pacific Rim”, “Regards sur l’Architecture” and “Regards Croisés” series from the Swiss photographer Thierry Wenger. His favorite subjects are architecture and infrastructures as part of the landscape, and for this exposition he has applied his very personal graphical vision and view angles to the Alpine landscapes.

Verantwortungsvolle Leistungen und nachhaltige Entwicklungsziele

We strive to reduce our carbon footprint by focusing on using 100% hydro-electrical power and only LED lighting, reducing plastic and paper in the hotel rooms to a minimum, eliminating plastic water bottles by using refillable glass bottles, as well as collecting all used soaps from our guests’ rooms to be recycled with our partner Sapocycle. Year on year, we successfully reduced our waste production by 20%.


Furthermore, we wish to go beyond our goals by supporting underprivileged people in their hospitality studies through Pimali as well as supporting disabled people with Capdenho.
